Senior Marketing and Communications Manager

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to join our growing team.

This role is key to ensure the marketing and business development functions of the company are achieving their highest potential and helping us reach our bold growth goals. The Sr. Marketing and Communication Manager will be charged with further building the brand awareness of Cooper Carry as a leading design firm with a unique combination of methodology, creativity, experience and technology. You will promote the firm both internally and externally while building our overall brand awareness and, will be charged with distilling the Cooper Carry story in a way that is compelling to the marketplace.


Our Sr. Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for these brand building and marketing functions:

  • Elevate brand awareness in partnership with PR firm and Firm Leadership 
  • Work with Creative and Sales teams to understand brand, value proposition, audience, and messaging 
  • Develop written content including white papers, articles, blog, and marketing collateral (internal & external) 
  • Create professional and compelling brand driven marketing collateral, white papers, articles, blog (internal/external) 
  • Create and manage an integrated marketing strategy, including social content. 
  • Monitor marketing trends and develop an understanding of brands who are doing it well. 
  • Research, identify and suggest new marketing technologies and resources to aid our mission to scale our impact. 
  • Develop client case studies. 
  • Develop thoughtful and comprehensive demand gen strategies/campaigns (MQL generation) and ensure best practices are followed across all offices. 
  • Develop key metrics and monitor results of campaigns - analyze, report, and optimize over time. 
  • Ensure brand consistency for internal and external corporate marketing communications efforts across markets. 
  • Directly manage our locally based retained PR partner to move Cooper Carry story to market and, secure relevant speaking engagements for CEO and other Firm Leadership 
  • Submit and win creative awards. 
  • Other marketing and communications duties as assigned. 
  • You will own and be tasked with helping map the Cooper Carry customer journey, mapping and creating content to align with the journey and its continual improvement and refining from initial point of opt-in to purchase to brand advocate (repeat and referral purchases). 
  • You will help Cooper Carry implement, build, and maintain a new CRM database.

  • You have managed a growing marketing and communications team. Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Successful experience with professional services marketing. 
  • Minimum of five years of marketing, communication experience with focus in consultative and solution-oriented sales and marketing approaches. E-commerce photo and/or video production experience, ad agency and/or creative experience is a plus. Experience in digital marketing preferred. 
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies, including social content strategy.
