The Digital Communications Manager is responsible for the strategic design, implementation and management of a range of online communication strategies targeting media and industry engagement, to enhance NBCU Telemundo Enterprises’ position as the authority for Hispanic Media.

Position and promote all NBCU Telemundo Enterprises social media profiles to boost the corporate brand, its human element, and its creative content.


  • Continue to build and maintain a strong corporate online reputation, and be its biggest advocate in the social media world. 
  • Develop other, relevant social media outlets to support and expand our corporate digital presence. 
  • Manage the “facilitation” of key social media platforms by optimizing population of executive bios, information and categorization, as well as creating the messaging and voice development strategy. 
  • Focus on revamping and optimizing the corporate and executive social media profiles and pages. 
  • Transform content to ensure easy sharing with social media networks. 
  • Optimize social media campaigns to generate interaction and brand exposure. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with target influencers. 
  • Message, tone and voice development and strategy. 
  • Launch corporate Youtube site and keep it up to date. 
  • Improve the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process for posting (methods, content and frequency), creating editorial calendars and syndication schedules integrating events, premiers, launches, corporate events, holidays, etc. 
  • Setup and launch growth campaigns and begin boosting and promoting key content/posts. 
  • Evaluate content and data analysis from social media efforts by continuously capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information. 
  • Design and creation of infographics, graphics, etc. 
  • Account monitoring/moderating and filtering ‘troll’ and ‘spam’ comments as well as manage user base. 
  • Ensure executives see key messages sent directly to their social media profiles and respond appropriately. 
  • Manage tracking tools to monitor mentions and sentiment of references to each executive, as well as NBCU Telemundo Enterprises and Telemundo brands. 
  • Create and Update corporate and executive Wikipedia pages. 
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications on digital and social media initiatives to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.


  • 3-4 years of experience in Digital Marketing with a focus on content development. 
  • Expert knowledge in the latest in digital and social media technology and channels and how to best leverage all marketing programs as part of an overall social business strategy. 
  • Excellent project and deadline management skills. 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. 
  • Copywriting and copyediting. 
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, Word Press, Email Campaign systems and social media platforms like: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. 
  • Highly motivated, quick-learner, self-starter. 
  • College degree in marketing, communications and/or technical areas 
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish (both oral and written). 
  • Familiarity with information technology, primarily digital and video means of communications, is essential. 
  • Understanding of the entertainment industry. 
  • Must be able to present a portfolio of work, including writing and digital samples.
