Position Details

Creative Administrator
Metro Atlanta and North Georgia
Peachtree Corners, GA

The position of Creative Administrator supports the activities of Director, Design Services & Support of the HFE Creative Studio. The Director’s role is to manage the day-to-day operation of the Creative Studio and to support all development efforts by identifying and managing external resources, to ensure compliance with the Product Development Process (PDP) and its policies and procedures, and to mentor and support the daily activities of the Creative Directors and Producers in their roles. The Creative Administrator’s responsibilities include any and all activities which support the Director in her role, including compiling and tracking of all timesheets/work hours for the Creative Studio staff to be forwarded to Corporate Finance for review, compiling and tracking of R&D account project costs and maintaining the HFE and HE committed reports, initiating PO set-up, processing departmental invoices and forwarding necessary documentation to Corporate Finance and Property Accounting Staff to ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner, on-demand distribution of creative assets, and support of both HFE and HE IP/Brand initiatives and special assignments. Most importantly, this position requires the ability to have light-hearted fun at work while managing multiple priorities and getting things done at a mile-per-minute pace while using email, Skype, texts—whatever it takes to get the job done!

Location & Work Environment:

This position will be based out of the Peachtree Corners, GA office. The Director, Design Services & Support and the Creative Administrator will work very closely together as it is part of the Director’s function to always be in the know. The Director will need to be copied on nearly all correspondence and will be closely overseeing your work. Your performance in the Creative Administrator role will not change her need for close oversight. These two positions are two parts which form a greater whole.

This is not a job for a designer, but for a business person who can work with all types of people, from creatives to those in finance. You will learn and be immersed in the world of the creative process, which requires attention to detail, speed, and the constant pursuit of perfection.


  • Tracking and maintaining timesheets, vacation and holidays for Creative Studio staff. 
  • Tracking of R&D project costs and maintenance of HFE and HE committed reports. 
  • Tracking of PER allocation forecast by period. 
  • Initiate PO’s in JDE for projects managed by the Creative Studio. 
  • Assist with fiscal year-end and capital project year-end invoice tracking/payment. 
  • Processing of invoices and submitting to Accounting for payment. 
  • Complete special assignments, some of which may include creating PowerPoint or Keynote decks, conducting image searches, and other research which is often finding a creative solution to a challenge. 
  • Respond to requests for logos, archived files, fonts, and other creative assets. 
  • Set up new DropBox sites, as needed and maintain the project DropBoxes. 
  • Capture and archive select project materials. 
  • Coordinate meetings, in person and via Skype or other web services, as required.

Highly process driven, and prefers to return to the known path again and again.

Required Experience:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Business, Business Administration favored areas of study.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: 2-5 years’ experience in fast-paced, detail-oriented business environment, preferably in a process-driving capacity.

SKILLS/JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have advanced knowledge of a variety of computer software applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of basic Accounting principles, Adobe Creative Suite, Creative Process & use of Mac computers a plus.
