Sealed Air’s Product Care division is expanding our team in order to reach new audiences using new methods, technologies, and points of view. The global content studio is responsible for creating effective content that drives global marketing efforts. This role will be charged with creating targeted and effective content (graphics, illustrations, photography, animation) that conveys the value proposition of the business and inspires customers enable growth in their business.

The Design Manager will create on-brand, visually innovative designs that show our customers and prospects the breadth of possibilities for their packaging.

This role requires a mind that thrives on creative problem solving, visual storytelling, an understanding of the way people make purchase decisions, and a skill for internalizing visual brand identity.

The success of this position will be measured in content performance metrics (usage and sharing by field sales teams, site engagement, views, and downloads from online prospects, etc.) and in on-time percentage in hitting ambitious timelines for content delivery to support annual campaign objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create fast-cycle, brand-savvy designs (such as infographics, slide decks, 1-pagers, and toolkits) to support a wide array of B2B and B2C marketing campaigns and sector priorities 
  • Work with Global Marketing, Regional Sales & Marketing, and Research and Development Teams to strategically create designs for customer engagement opportunities 
  • Partner with Research and Development and Packaging Application Centers to ensure production timelines and logistics for producing high-impact packaging design samples 
  • Maintain corporate brand standards for Sealed Air internal and external marketing content, while also being able to quickly and meaningfully interpret outside brands to create high-impact designs that are customized to individual prospects or industries. 
  • Create templates, guidelines, and provide ongoing coaching and support to marketing communications teams in global regions who may be tasked with created localized design content. 
  • Collaborate with Corporate Digital and Video teams to meet best practice standards for digital content marketing materials including web graphics, video, interactive tools, apps, etc. 
  • Partner with Global Events Manager and Customer Engagement Coordinator to create high-impact, customized visuals to enhance live engagements at trade industry events and customer engagement centers.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in creating visual communication 
  • 2+ years of experience in packaging design preferred 
  • 2+ years of experience in creating branded collateral preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in Adobe Creative cloud with an expertise in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop 
  • Ability to clearly articulate and visually represent complex ideas 
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency across mediums and channels 
  • Excellent relationship building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries and functions 
  • Strong leadership, creativity, and planning/execution skills 
  • Ability to take ownership and drive multiple projects from start to finish, while working across groups 
  • A storyteller who uses his/her communications strength to move others 
  • Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
